BUSINESS TRAINING WORKSHOP AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

In February 2024, the Benue State University Consultancy Services , in partnership with the Centre for Food Technology and Research (CEFTER), organized a comprehensive business-training workshop and personalized mentoring program. This initiative aimed to enhance the professional development and business acumen of senior staff of Benue State University.

 

Facilitators and mentors for the training were carefully selected industry experts from within and outside the state, ensuring participants gained practical knowledge and insights from seasoned professionals. The program provided a unique blend of theoretical training and hands-on mentorship, enabling participants to apply their learnings directly .

 

The workshop and mentorship program focused on equipping participants with key business skills, including financial management, contract negotiation, project planning, and customer service excellence. It also addressed the specific needs and challenges faced by university staff in managing Business operations and Startin up a Business the 21st century, ensuring their contribution to the economy even after retirement.

 

Through this collaborative initiative, the consultancy services and CEFTER fostered a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within Benue State University. The participants emerged from the program with increased confidence and the tools necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of higher educational and Business management.
