CEFTER Graduate one PhD and four M.Sc Students Of the Department of Rural Sociology and Agricultural Extension

CEFTER has again graduated one PhD and four MScs at the completion of the 2018/2019 Academic Session. All the students are from the department of Sociology and Agricultural extension. The said candidates went through hours of thorough oral academic examination and intellectual drills at the external examination of their various areas of research. This event took place at the CEFTER conference room. The details of individual candidates is as stated below:-

1. Name: Abraham Tavershima Agwaza (BSU/CEFTER/PhD/15/166) bagged a PhD in Rural Sociology and Agricultural Extension. His Thesis examined the Effect of Post-Harvest Losses on Orange on the production and income of farmers in Agriculture in Zone A of Benue State.

2. Esther Seember Pinga (BSU/CEFTER/M.Sc./16/311) bagged an M.Sc. in Rural Sociology and Agricultural Extension. Her dissertation examined Agricultural Labour Utilization and rice production in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State , Nigeria.

3. Ameh Emmanuel (BSU/CEFTER/M.Sc./15/124) bagged an M.Sc. in Rural Sociology and Agricultural Extension. He Examined borrowing and repayments Behaviour of small scale farmers in Otukpo local government Area of Benue State, Nigeria.

4. Emmy Owoicho Okadonye (BSU/CEFTER/M.Sc./16/308) bagged an M.Sc. in Rural Sociology and Agricultural Extension. His research work was on Effect of post harvest losses of rice on income of rice farmers in Makurdi local government Area of Benue State, Nigeria.

5. Juliet Ogadinmma (BSU/CEFTER/M.Sc./16/310) bagged an M.Sc. in Rural Sociology and Agricultural Extension. She undertook an assessment of Impact of Adoption of improved technologies on the output of cassava farmers in Benue State , Nigeria.
